This Privacy Policy explains how KitonAgro Ltd (“KitonAgro”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit our Site, contact us, or do business with us. It also explains your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Data from third parties

  • Lead and marketing partners (business contact information).

We do not collect payment details on this Site and we do not offer e‑commerce on the Site.

We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies and we do not use third‑party ad networks.

We share personal data only with trusted recipients, under appropriate safeguards:

  • Service providers / processors – hosting, email, CRM, analytics, IT/security partners.

  • Business partners (on request) – for example, if you ask us to connect you with a local distributor.

  • Professional advisers – accountants, insurers, auditors, lawyers.

  • Authorities – where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

  • Corporate transactions – as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (subject to confidentiality).

We do not sell your personal information.

6) International transfers

We are UK‑based but some providers are located outside the UK/EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, we use legally‑recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA), the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and/or ensure the recipient is in a country with an adequacy decision. We also assess supplementary measures where needed.

7) Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above:

  • Enquiries and B2B prospect records: up to 24 months after last interaction (unless you opt‑out sooner).

  • Website logs and security data: up to 12 months (or shorter operational cycles).

  • Cookie/analytics data: per our Cookie Notice (or until you withdraw consent or clear cookies).

We will delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

8) Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection (including to direct marketing), data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)) – see Contact below.

California (CCPA/CPRA)
Right to know/access, correct, delete, and to opt‑out of “selling” or “sharing” personal information (as defined by law), and the right to non‑discrimination. If we engage in selling/sharing in the future, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism.

To exercise any rights, email contact@kitonagro.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorised agent where allowed by law.

9) Marketing choices

  • You can opt out of email marketing at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

  • For B2B outreach, we keep communications relevant and proportionate and honour opt‑outs promptly.

  • You can manage non‑essential cookies via [Manage Cookies].

10) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk (access controls, encryption in transit, secure hosting, staff training). No system is 100% secure; if we learn of a data incident affecting you, we will notify you and regulators where required by law.

11) Children

Our Site and services are for business customers and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12) Third‑party links

The Site may link to third‑party sites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version with a revised “Last updated” date and, if the changes are material, we will take additional steps to notify you.

15) Region‑specific disclosures (summary)

UK/EEA: We rely on the legal bases listed in Section 3 and honour GDPR rights. International transfers use SCCs/IDTA and other safeguards.
California: We do not sell or share PI as those terms are defined. If we begin doing so, we will update this Policy and provide opt‑out links. We do not use sensitive PI for purposes other than those permitted by law.
Other regions: If local laws give you additional rights, we will respect them. Contact us to learn more.

16) Data Processing Addendum (for business customers)

Where KitonAgro acts as a processor for a business customer (e.g., handling contact lists on their instructions), the parties may enter into a separate Data Processing Addendum incorporating applicable SCCs/IDTA. Contact us to request a copy.
